Three varieties, three characters

Nose

Arbequina smells of fruit and almond, Hojiblanca of fresh fruit and Picual of bolder green notes. Three aromas you can tell apart even with your eyes closed.

Palate

Arbequina arrives sweet and delicate, Hojiblanca fresh with a gentle bitterness, and Picual with more character and a bitterness you notice.

Finish

Picual leaves a marked pepperiness at the end; the other two fade out softly. That is why it is best to start with Arbequina and finish with Picual.
