Monteoliva, the Cabra cooperative since 1949

A small group of farmers from Cabra joined forces in 1949, convinced they would go further together. Today they are over a thousand families in the Córdoba Subbética, and that old Junquillo mill has become one of the engines of their town.

Traditional varieties such as Pajarero, Hojiblanco, Picudo and Carrasqueño, tended by those who inherited them, give oils that now travel to competitions and tables around the world.

The oil

Organic EVOO grown by the cooperative’s farmers and cold-extracted. Medium fruitiness with fresh, lively notes and fruity, herbaceous aromas.
