Con Nombre Propio, from the grove to your home

It all begins at Finca La Mata, under the sun of southern La Mancha and the wind of the Sierra de Alcaraz, a tough place where organic olive trees grow rain-fed and at altitude. That hardship is their strength: it gives very healthy olives and an oil with character.

Here the clock rules: the olives reach the mill in barely an hour and a quarter, are cold-extracted and are kept in containers designed so the last drop tastes like the first.

The oil

Single-variety Picual at the start of ripening, picked some 15 to 20 days after the early olives. Elegant, persistent and very resistant to oxidation, perfect raw and in everyday cooking. The producer states over 500 mg/kg of polyphenols. It comes in a bag in box: an opaque vacuum bag with nitrogen and a drip-free tap that keeps air out.
