The organic Subbética of Almaoliva Bio
Almazaras de la Subbética brings together olive growers from the hills of southern Córdoba, a district of limestone ranges and natural park where olive trees live alongside holm oaks, Mediterranean scrub and varied wildlife.
The Almaoliva Bio line is grown without synthetic chemicals, caring for the soil and the biodiversity of the area. Choosing an organic oil from the Subbética also supports mountain olive growing that keeps the landscape of the hills alive, with its holm oaks, springs and white villages.
Where Almaoliva Bio shines
- Fresh salads.
- Traditional stews.
- Salmorejo and gazpacho.
- Grilled vegetables.
- Bread with tomato.
Its green intensity gives character to simple dishes, and its peppery finish balances spoon dishes very well. Almaoliva Bio works equally well raw and in everyday cooking.
The Almaoliva Bio 500 ml bottle

Half a litre is the size of the household cruet: it is used daily and finished before the oil loses freshness. Almaoliva Bio is sold on its own or in boxes of 6, 12 or 24 bottles, practical for keeping a supply or for gifts.
It keeps best tightly closed, in a cool place protected from light, away from the stove. Opening one bottle at a time keeps the rest sealed and fresh, so the last bottle tastes just like the first.
