Tasting CÉNIT Picual
This tin holds all of CÉNIT Picual’s character: medium fruitiness, green leaf, tomato and banana, and a fresh aftertaste. It is an oil enjoyed above all raw, where its balance shows best.
Being small, the tin is finished within a few weeks and the oil is always enjoyed at its best.
It is also a good way to get to know veraison Picual before moving to a larger format, or to compare it with the Hojiblanca from the same range.
Veraison Picual from Lahiguera
CÉNIT Picual comes from olives picked at veraison, when their skin begins to turn purple. Oleohiguera cold extracts them at its mill in Lahiguera, in the Jaén countryside, from certified organic groves.
It is the midpoint of the season: the olive has gained a little sweetness and roundness yet keeps the green freshness typical of Picual.
In a village that has lived from olive growing for generations, this mill has chosen to turn each moment of the harvest into a different oil, and CÉNIT is the most balanced of them all.
Organic farming, without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers, keeps the soil alive and leaves a ground cover between the trees that shelters insects and birds. That care for the land shows later in a clean, fresh oil, true to the olive it comes from, harvest after harvest.
How to enjoy CÉNIT Picual
- Breakfast toast.
- Packed salads.
- Sandwiches.
- Vegetables.
It is the perfect tin for the office, a day trip or the holiday flat: a few drops turn a sandwich or a packed salad into a far tastier meal.
The 250 ml tin

The tin protects the oil from light, does not break and travels well. Its illustration also makes it a lovely small gift.
Once opened, it is closed tightly after each use. For greater use there are the 1 litre and 3 litre tins.
