Loxa and the Granada hills
Veraison, envero in Spanish, is the moment when the olive starts to change colour. Picked then, it gives intensely fruity oils, with more bitterness and pepperiness than late-harvest oils. That is the profile of Loxa Envero organic: a lively, aromatic oil that comes into its own raw.
Loxa takes its name from Loja, a town in western Granada surrounded by hills and olive groves, on the road between Granada and Málaga. It is an area of mountain olive growing, with cold winters and olives that ripen slowly.
The Envero version is made from organically grown olives, without synthetic pesticides or chemicals, and extracted with care to keep the freshness of the early harvest.
How to serve Loxa Envero organic
- Fresh salads.
- Grilled meat and fish.
- Freshly toasted bread.
- Roast vegetables.
An early harvest oil shines above all raw: good toasted bread, freshly roasted vegetables or grilled fish are enough to appreciate its fruitiness. A few drops to finish a plate of pulses give it a fresh, green aroma.
In a simple tomato salad with a pinch of salt, the pepperiness and green notes of Loxa Envero organic become the true protagonists of the dish.
The flacone bottle and its gift tube

The 500 ml flacone bottle, opaque and with simple lines, protects the oil from light. The gift tube, decorated with olive leaves, makes it an elegant present that is easy to wrap.
It is sold on its own or in cases of 6, 12 or 24 bottles. Given its early harvest profile, it is best enjoyed in the months after opening, when its aromas are at their peak.
