Cortijo de Suerte Alta, a century at the heart of Baena

In 1924 the Marquis of Bedmar planted by hand the three-trunk olive trees that still sustain this house. Four generations later, Cortijo de Suerte Alta remains at the heart of the Baena PDO, fully organic, with its own estate and a bioclimatic mill where the oil is cold-extracted below 27 °C.

More than 250 international awards back what has always been done here: tending the olive tree and waiting for each olive to say when.

The oil

The family selection from both estates: a blend led by Arbequina, rounded with Picual and Manzanilla. Fruity, with green banana, apple and sometimes exotic fruit such as pineapple. Elegant and complex, with subtle bitterness and a delicate peppery finish.

Sold in a box of 8 bottles of 250 ml, 2 L in total. The price is for the whole box, and you can mix references of the same brand and format. Once opened, keep it tightly closed, somewhere cool and away from light.
