Twelve thousand Royal olive trees in the Sierra de Cazorla

12MIL Royales comes from a family with five generations of olive-growing tradition in Jaén and from a singular idea: to plant twelve thousand Royal olive trees in the Sierra de Cazorla, not one more, and to farm them organically to revive an almost forgotten local variety. The project began nearly a decade ago, and those trees produce a single extra virgin olive oil, early-harvested and made in limited quantities under the Sierra de Cazorla Protected Designation of Origin.

Tasting notes

Intensely green, it offers a fresh, elegant fruitiness with soft notes and aromas of apple and fig. On the palate the entry is sweet, with light bitterness and gentle pepperiness, a balance that defines the character of Royal.
